ZOMBIE BOOGIE is a collectible 33 rpm 7” vinyl EP with an artistic, disturbing letterpress cover created at Hand-cranked Letterpress.

The four tracks on the EP capture Jason Krekel (guitar, drums) and Ami Worthen (ukulele, guitar) at their most raw and rockin’. As an added treat, they are joined on two tracks by Henry Westmoreland (sax). With two original songs and two obscure covers, ZOMBIE BOOGIE is certain to get you in a spooky mood. Brave souls who purchase the vinyl record get downloads of all four songs, plus a surprise bonus song!

Rue Morgue Magazine wrote, "North Carolina's Jason Krekel (guitar) and Ami Worthen (electric ukulele) might actually be the world's first ukulele power duo. Inspired by goth, old-timey folk and the slimy surf-punk vibe of the Cramps, they've created ZOMBIE BOOGIE, a twangy honky-tonk tune about a new dance craze that has the undead boppin' to the beat of a kick drum, amplified ukulele and juke-joint guitar."

The time has come for some crazy, chilling uke-abilly music.

lyrics

Zombie boogie, it's a killer jive
Zombie boogie, it's not alive
Zombie boogie, no one survives

Zombie boogie, it's the latest craze
Zombie boogie, straight from the grave
Zombie boogie, puts you in a daze

Zombie boogie, it's a solid fact
Zombies died, now they're comin' back
It's the zombie boogie, and you're a snack

Zombies act so insane
Screamin' in pain
'Cuz zombies wanna eat your brains

Better watch that zombie with the rotting flesh
Moaning, groaning like he's possessed
Gonna dance his legs off, and make a mess

Zombie, shuffling in the street
Covered in blood, lost half his teeth
Doing the zombie boogie for eternity

(spoken word ending, screams)
